SPECIAL COVID-19 POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

While Early Learning ("preschool") is considered an essential business and is allowed to operate in all phases, the safety of our students, families, and staff is, and will always be, our top priority. We have received guidelines from the Washington State Department of Health, reviewing all safety precautions and extra measures we will meet in order to provide the safest possible environment for in-person learning. A quick overview of some of these include:

  • Smaller class sizes - All classes limited to a maximum of 9 students (8 for Early Threes) to enable more social distancing in classrooms.
  • Staggered start times - Each teacher will have a slightly different start time so that parents and students can properly social distance during check-in and check-out, which will takes place away from classrooms. Teachers will have a full 30 minutes between AM and PM classes to allow for extra cleaning.
  • Health checks - During the check-in process, each student will go through a quick health screening before being admitted to class.
  • No mixing - Classes will no longer share time in any space, so your student will only ever be with the other 8 students from their class, even when eating, in the Big Room, or on the playground.
  • Extra cleaning and toy rotation - Each class will have their own set of toys, so no sharing of items between classes. All toys and surfaces in the building are cleaned before and after every class session.

In addition to our normal in-person classes, we are offering Distance Learning options for the full 2020-2021 school year! Distance Learning is a great solution if you are worried about the safety of bringing your students to class in the fall due to COVID-19, if you are facing schedule or transportation challenges, or if you're just looking for additional activities for your child. You may choose from the following options for any of our preschool grade levels:

  • 2-day Distance Learning - $170/month tuition (follows our Th/F in-person class curriculum)
  • 3-day Distance Learning - $195/month tuition (follows our M/T/W in-person class curriculum)
  • 5-day Distance Learning - $335/month tuition (follows our M-F in-person class curriculum)
